After what seems like forever we finally have a brand new stuff pack being released! The Sims 4 Home Chef Hustle stuff pack is releasing worldwide on Thursday September 28th 2023.
I have only dabbled briefly and tested out some of the new features. What do I think of the new pack? Well I am glad we have more cooking options in game as I am a massive Foodie in real life!
Portable Pizza Ovens
I love the new pizza options we get. I will not say too much about the new pizzas we get as I want you to find this out yourself. However, I will say your sims can cook them in a brand new portable pizza oven! I was super excited about this although my sim managed to cause a fire... although it may be because they had Level 1 Cooking Skill... 👀
Stand Mixer
I am officially obsessed with the new stand mixer we get. I love to bake in real life so I am happy I can finally add a mixer to all of my sims kitchens! Using this mixer in game allows sims to 'prepare' things such as 'batter' and 'lactose free batter'. They can also 'prepare seafood' and 'prepare meat'. All these preparation options actually speeds up the cooking time for your sim. Which I guess makes sense, as preparing beforehand will always help speed up how much cooking time is required. I do this in real life (prepare food) so I am glad to see more realism added to The Sims 4!
Waffle Maker
Not only do we get a pizza oven and a stand mixer, we also get a waffle maker! I have never used one in real life as here in England most people do not own a waffle maker (well all the people I know). I do love this new item and I was surprised with how many types of waffle dishes we could create from Chicken and Waffles to Apple Bacon Waffles! Honestly the selection is endless!
Run your own business
With this new pack you can now run your own 'side hustle'. You sims are now able to sell all their sweets, treats and any delicious meals they make using the brand new stall!
Overall I think this a good pack with some good items and recipes in it. I think for a stuff pack you cannot go wrong. If it was a game pack then I would have expected a lot more but I am very happy with what we have been given! I give this pack a 7/10!
